Bolton is a picturesque quiet village on the outskirts of the Lake District which is easily accessed by the A66. However it is set far enough away that the roads through Bolton are quiet and not very busy. Bolton is a typical country village surrounded by farms and woods with lots of opportunities for children to get outside and explore.

We are situated next door to Bolton Primary School and have very strong links with the school. 

We visit Bolton Church for Harvest Festival and the Christmas Carol Service as well as a monthly Jesus and Me (JAM) session.

As you can see from this picture we take every opportunity to take part in outside activities. Our children often go on nature walks around the village and we make good use of Bolton Village Hall for indoor activities like Little Kickers. Here our children got to pet the lambs and feed them.
